Sophie is a political economist, co-founder and director of Commons Network, a collaborative think thank for the new economy and the just transition based in Amsterdam. It works at the intersection of economic transition, the digital commons, post-growth and the role of governments. Sophie is a strong advocate of a European political perspective that supports digital commons and public digital infrastructure and has coordinated various coalitions and campaigns for this purpose. As a social advocate in politics, she has worked extensively on knowledge management and innovation policies at European and international level. Part of his current work is the development of incubation programs for the digital cooperative economy with the municipality of Amsterdam. She is also currently working with the Dutch Ministry of the Interior on a project on Digital Sovereignty and Policies, and is involved in the process for a European Digital Infrastructure Consortium on Digital Commons.

Micaela Mantegna is known as abogamer, a video game lawyer, specialized in industry policy, trends, and regulation. Noyb (the acronym noyb stands for “none of your business”) is a non-profit organisation co-founded in 2017 by Austrian lawyer Max Schrems in Vienna. Schrems was responsible for the strategic litigation that annulled the Privacy Shield on the transfer of personal data of European citizens to the United States, among other cases.
